I Am Supporting Peter Obi Strictly Because He Is Igbo. Not because I hear the intelligence coming out of his mouth — Rapper SpeedDarlington

Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has declared his intention to support Peter Obi in the 2027 presidential election, stating that his decision is based strictly on tribal affiliation rather than the former Anambra State governor’s intelligence.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the singer said:

“I am going to support Peter obi for president. Not because I see or hear the intelligence coming out of his mouth. I am supporting peter obi strictly because of tribe, because he is igbo”

He also questioned the achievements of other presidential hopefuls, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, while expressing reservations about having another Fulani president.

“The devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know. Atiku and amaechi has been state men for years, what did they accomplish?. Who even wants a Fulani president?”

Speed Darlington further criticised Nigerian politicians for continuing to use road infrastructure as a campaign talking point, describing it as embarrassing that such promises remain relevant in 2026.

“Shame on all Nigerian politicians for still using road to campaign. It a big shame in 2026”

Congratulations to my new partner in the U.S. Senate, Senator-elect @abdulelsayed!

Let’s get to work! For Michigan!

🇮🇷 İranın Ali Rəhbərinin beynəlxalq məsələlər üzrə müşaviri Əli Əkbər Vilayəti Ermənistana xəbərdarlıq edib.

🇦🇲 Vilayəti bu barədə “İttilaat” qəzetində yayımlanan “Ermənistan Baş nazirinə açıq və səmimi müraciət” başlıqlı məqaləsində bildirib.

✍️ Vilayətinin məqaləsində önə çıxan hissələr:

- Son vaxtlar cənab Paşinyan Ermənistan üçün yalnız parçalanma və problemlər yaradan addımlar atıb. Ermənistan xalqının maraqlarına zidd olan bütün mənfi addımları bir sözlə ifadə etmək olar: Qərbin, xüsusilə Fransa, ABŞ və Böyük Britaniyanın siyasətinə getdikcə daha çox tabe olmaq.

- Paşinyanın bu davranışı onun keçmişdəki mürəkkəb keçmişi nəzərə alınmaqla, Cənubi Qafqazda yeni düşmənçilik və gərginlik mərhələsinin başlanmasına səbəb olur.

- Onun son addımı çoxüzlü bir şəxs olan Trampın Zəngəzur dəhlizinin adının «Tramp marşrutu» və ya TRIPP olaraq dəyişdirilməsi ilə bağlı əsassız və düşünülməmiş təklifini qəbul etməsidir.

- İran Rusiya ilə birlikdə və ya Rusiyasız Cənubi Qafqazın təhlükəsizliyinin qorunmasını öz məsuliyyəti hesab edir. Necə ki, Böyük Kir dövründən indiyədək Dağıstanın Dərbənd şəhərinə qədər Qafqaz İran üçün təhlükəsizlik buferi olub.

- 2021-ci ildə Tehranda keçirilən Astana sammitində mənim də şəhid İmamın [Əli Xamneyi] xidmətində olmaq şərəfinə nail olduğum görüşdə o, səhər cənab Ərdoğanla, axşam isə cənab Putinlə görüşlərində açıq şəkildə bildirdi ki, «Biz Zəngəzur dəhlizinin yaradılmasına qarşıyıq».

- Şəhid İmamın [Əli Xamneyi] xarici siyasət və ölkənin mühüm məsələləri ilə bağlı strateji bəyanatları İran İslam Respublikasında qırmızı xətdir.

- Sözümü Ermənistan səfirinə açıq şəkildə belə çatdırdım: Tramp və onun müttəfiqləri İranın bu qırmızı xəttini keçmək istəsələr, onların ayaqlarını qıracağıq.

A video of All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora alleging that priests commit rape inside temples has triggered a political controversy, with the BJP accusing her of insulting Hindu religious institutions and questioning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s support for her. The undated clip circulated on November 3.

In the video, Bora argues that women need protection from what she describes as the “Brahmanical system”. She alleges that the social order enables the oppression of vulnerable groups and leaves even Brahmin women unsafe.

“Priests commit rapes inside temples,” she says, referring to sexual violence cases in Unnao and Kathua while making her argument.

Sharing the footage, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari described Bora as Rahul Gandhi’s “poster girl” and accused her of displaying “Hindu hate”. He sought to connect her remarks with Congress’s ideology, alleging that the party was targeting Hindu faith for electoral interests. BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia also condemned the comments as insulting to Hindu priests. These were the BJP leaders’ allegations.

Bora’s reference to Kathua concerns the 2018 rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl who was held captive inside a village temple. In June 2019, a court convicted six men, with temple caretaker Sanji Ram among three sentenced to life imprisonment.

The criticism centres on Bora’s sweeping language about priests and religious institutions. Responding to the controversy, BJP leader Nalin Kohli said rape was a heinous crime that should not be communalised, and demanded an apology and clarification over her remarks.
