some of you know my little story through conversations at markets, but i figured i should introduce myself to everyone on here officially, soo…
i’m Abbey and Messy Marvin’s Bakery is my baby!!
Messy Marvin’s started as a way to bake my way through college and simply do something i love, aka feeding people goodies! now that college is complete for me, i am just going where the oven takes me:)
i began baking at a very young age in Eastern Oregon, where my family owned a bagel shop and I just regularly baked with my Grammy! the name “Messy Marvin” is a huge ode to my dad! as a kid, i regularly blew up the kitchen with flour and chocolates to which my dad would walk through the mess, call me “Messy Marvin” and just let me do my thing. i’m forever grateful for the freedom and support he gave me and for all the lessons my Grammy gave me in baking.
overall, i wanted to fully introduce myself to be able to say a proper thank you to everyone who has supported me through the journey!! i truly cannot say thank you enough.
now that you know me, i hope to get to get to say a personal hello to each and everyone of you! see you all every Saturday at the NWX Market!🫶🫶
