I was fortunate to get my Chapin double album/book signed by him. He looked at his photo and said, “I was 45 years old there.” That copy was given to me by my mentors and uncles, Roberto and Raul Garza. They taught me many of the same things I later relearned in college. Now I’m honoring my family by passing that knowledge on to the next generation. I can’t wait to watch this event. Go Claus!
