Chachu,
I still can’t believe you’re gone. It doesn’t feel real, and I don’t know if it ever will.
How do I accept that I’ll never see your smile again? That I’ll never see you walking towards us with your little cross body bag and your sunglasses, ready for another trip, another meal, another memory. Those moments felt so ordinary then, but today I’d give anything to live them one more time.
I’ll miss our silly fights over who would pay the rickshaw fare. I’ll miss sitting across from you while we ate together, laughing over the smallest things. I’ll miss your voice, your presence, your kindness, and the comfort of simply knowing you were there.
You weren’t just my Chachu. You were a part of my happiest memories, a part of our family, and a part of my heart. You loved us in your own quiet, beautiful way, and I hope you knew how deeply you were loved in return.
I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. There were so many more conversations to have, so many more trips to take, so many more meals to share.
Wherever you are, I hope you’re smiling the way you always did. I’ll carry every memory of you with me for the rest of my life. Every time I see a rickshaw, every family trip, every shared meal, I’ll think of you.
I love you, Chachu. Thank you for giving us so many beautiful memories. You may be gone from our sight, but you’ll never be gone from my heart.
Until we meet again. Rest peacefully. 🤍🕊️😭
