Mount Blanca. What a dream. Failed this 4 years ago due to weather. Got to redeem myself with my baby brother (his first 14er btw), he absolutely crushed it. Super proud of him, and what an experience, I will never forget it.

We set out for camp yesterday, started at 6 PM, and got up there at 9:30 PM, set up camp, and we ate and got prepped for the following day. Woke up at 5:30 AM, and got headed up the route a little after 6:20 AM.

Impeccable views. Surreal genuinely & Tons of pretty scenery, the weather was nice enough to let us summit Blanca and get down off the summit push, started raining a little after we got close to camp. 10/10 would do again.

Total Stats for the hike:
14.6 miles Round Trip, 6,175 feet vertical elevation gain, 22 hours total (camped overnight and got rained on for an hr)
