ONLY ONE MORE WEEK UNTIL THE PREMIERE OF NOISE CIRCUS.
JULY 25 & 26 (SAT/SUN) - 20:00
Südufer Freiburg
Haslacherstr. 41
Ticket reservation via the link in our bio.
/////
Flickering lights, flying guitars, and pulsating bass lines: welcome to The Interstring Project’s NOISE CIRCUS. The experimental electric guitar quartet breaks free from cables and effect pedals, presenting its new program as a sound performance between progressive rock and contemporary dance.
For each composition—works by Katarina Gryvul, Lou Kilger, Francisco Uberto, and original compositions—the four musicians, together with choreographer Ria Rehfuß, have developed movement sequences that reflect the music’s unique qualities in a three-dimensional space: running in ecstasy, like video game characters, or tightly intertwined in eternal slow motion.
NOISE CIRCUS embodies playfulness and organized chaos—an expressive performance, immersive lighting design, and the extraordinary soundscape of The Interstring Project make for a unique audiovisual experience.
