Yesterday, we celebrated my dad’s 80th milestone birthday with a small, intimate family dinner, and my heart feels incredibly full 🥰 After a scary and long hospital stay just a few weeks ago, I’ve truly understood that everyday is a gift. Life is so fragile and fleeting 😥 Seeing him get excited to dress up for his dinner was the cutest thing, and it reminded me to cherish the little moments. Every moment like this counts ❤️

Not forgetting our favorite tradition - my little one dotted his face with cake cream 🤭 but this year he decided to return that favor and he had this cheeky, playful smile after that 😂

Honestly, knowing that most of his close friends have already passed on brings a wave of anxiety about the future, but it also makes moments like yesterday mean the absolute world. He was truly happy 🥰 surrounded by love, and right now, that is all that matters. ❤️
