JEWEL at Aria reportedly closing after November 21. Another Vegas venue going dark at an MGM property. When are these corporate executives going to start listening to the customer? You can only squeeze people so much before they stop coming. Parking, drinks, fees everywhere you turn, somebody’s reaching into your pocket. I’m not claiming to know JEWEL’s books, but I’ve been saying this about Vegas for a long time: making every visit more expensive doesn’t make people want to come back. Bring back value. Bring back hospitality. Give people a reason to return. Make Vegas Vegas Again.
