My dahlias are beginning to bloom and my volunteer sunflowers are actually thriving in this incredibly warm weather we have been having. Today is the first cloudy day in what seems like a long while and I am totally grateful for it.

Anthropic and OpenAI have lately taken up an old tradition in corporate America: bemoaning the Chinese copycat.

That is because China remains hot on America’s heels in the race to AI superintelligence, largely due to distillation—a process by which inferior models learn to imitate the output of cleverer ones.

Yet the two firms are hardly suffering from the consequences. They have raised hundreds of billions of dollars and dominate the market, making it hard to argue that copying hurts investment at the frontier.

Congress should resist the firms’ calls to ban distillation. To understand why America, and consumers, actually benefit from it, click the link in our bio.

Performance has a new name. Introducing Pravia, a road bike that's engineered to race and designed for real riders.

It brings the performance demands of the World Tour to your Tuesday-night breakaway, the in-town Strava segment, the climb you’ve been chasing all summer, or that rare day when the legs are there, the road opens up, and you decide not to back off.

Hiya!!! ... I'm a Welsh girl who loves a cute, COMFORTABLE outfit 🙋🏻‍♀️💃

I believe, if we whack on an outfit we love (whatever that looks like) we can achieve the unachievable, because us women are very clever humans, and if we're COMFORTABLE clever humans ... well, I'll leave that one with you 😉❤️ 🔥☄️⚡️
