We spent last weekend in downtown Fort Worth, and were surprised to find some stellar examples of Art Deco architecture. Our stay was at the iconic Sinclair Hotel, both a Texas and National Registered Historic Landmark. Everything from the room service, to the coffee bar, to the color changing shower lights with jazz music made for a wonderful stay. And the pillows!!

From a building perspective, I loved the inlaid wood elevators, the tiled floors, and deco moldings. Plus, given its age, the AC worked like a champ in the blistering Texas heat. Overall, it was a great visit and a hotel I’d recommend for anyone who enjoys historic architecture and urban adventures.
