Last fall my friend and I went to a farmers market in France.
I found this vintage floral trim, and it was love at first sight.

For 6 months this floral trim lived in the back of my head as I dreamed of what it could become.

Then I found a bolt of navy cotton at a local antique shop, and some pink ribbon my mom used for her baby shower when she had me.

At last, I finally dreamed up a piece that was worthy of the trim from France.
