strong deeds, gentle words, hon
The house my grandparents built -- that my mom grew up in, and that I grew up in -- is for sale. I'll be 40 minutes from my family instead of 400 miles for the first time in over a decade. It's exciting: and it's a reignited grief of re-burying everyone we've lost while in Maryland. I would leave you all flowers if I knew where, but I carry your memories always. Our time is a foundational part of me.
Thank you, I love you, I miss you.
Thank you. It killed you that I wasn't a man, and you made sure to let me know. I'm sorry you never had the opportunity or interest to see what I could do.
I love you, I miss you. Thank you for believing in my dreams.
I love you, I miss you. I truly think the world would have been kinder to you now.
