We spoke with @robert3delnaja from @massiveattackofficial about the Supreme Court hearing today over the proscription of Palestine Action.

Rob had attended in solidarity with the 25 people who were arrested under the Terrorism Act outside the court today while holding signs displaying words matching those recently posted on X by Sarah Helm, the wife of the National Security Adviser to UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

Those arrested included community leaders, people of many faiths and none, authors, lawyers, bartenders, gardeners, and even people with royal honours.

Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens gave a surprise endorsement to Michigan GOP Senate candidate Mike Rogers on Sunday amid a rift with Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed that has come front and center in the final sprint to Election Day.

“Our Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, Abdul, said that I was no longer welcome in his campaign and that I should stay away, and he’s right,” Stevens said in a video posted on social media Sunday. “And that’s why I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United States Senate today.”

She went to a Detroit church with Rogers on Sunday and sat next to him during the service before announcing her endorsement. Stevens’ decision stunned Democratic leaders, including Reps. Debbie Dingell of Michigan and Jamie Raskin of Maryland, who had spoken with her Saturday evening and said she had assured them she would vote for El-Sayed. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, who backed Stevens during the primary, called her decision a “betrayal.”

CNN’s Anderson Cooper interviewed Stevens Sunday and repeatedly asked her what changed her mind between her conversation with Dingell late Saturday night and Sunday morning. She did not answer him directly. At one point, she told him, “That’s just where I landed with this. I woke up this morning clear-eyed, fresh and, you know, focused on what was in my heart, and that’s that.”

جلو اینه ایستادم . موهای بلند و خرمایی‌رنگم رو که همیشه تو روستا زیر چارقد قایم می‌کردم، باز کردم و شونه زدم تا مواج بریزه روی کمرم. چشم‌های درشت و سبزم توی آینه برق می‌زدن؛ چشم‌هایی که تو کل آبادی زبونزَد بود و خاستگارا واسه‌ش له‌له می‌زدن. یه پیراهن جذب زرشکی پوشیدم که سفیدی پوستم رو خیلی به رخ می‌کشید. دستام می‌لرزید ولی یه سرمه نازک کشیدم که سبزیِ چشمامو درشت‌تر و گیراتر نشون می‌داد، یه برق‌لب آلبالویی زدم و شیشه عطری که قایم کرده بودم رو برداشتم، چند پاف زدم به گردنم و لای تارهای خرمایی موهام.
چارقد ننداختم رو سرم، پاورچین از پله‌ها اومدم تو حیاط خاکی. بوی دود کاه و بوی پاییزِ روستا پیچیده بود تو هوا. با پاهای لرزون رفتم سمت خونه عمو، اون‌ورِ حیاط. درِ چوبی سنگینش نیمه‌باز بود، درست همون‌طوری که گفته بود.
در رو هل دادم، رفتم تو و پشت سرم چفتش کردم. خونه تاریک‌روشن بود و فقط نور زرد چراغ‌موشی گوشه طاقچه سوسو می‌زد. هنوز قدمی برنداشته بودم که شاهان از پشت نزدیک شد، دستاش محکم حلقه شد
دور ک/:مرم، کشیدم تو بغل سفتش و با صدایی خمار و بم دم گوشم زمزمه کرد:
امشب قراره یه شب رؤیاییِ زن و شوهری داشته باشیم.
تنم از داغی نفس‌هاش که می‌خورد بیخ گوشم مورمور شد.
سعی کردم حلقه‌ دست‌هاش رو شل کنم. نیم‌چرخی زدم و روبه‌روش ایستادم
صدام بین اشتیاق و التماس می‌لرزید: — شاهان... چی داری می‌گی؟ زن و شوهری چیه؟ ما که هنوز نامحرمیم... این کارا چیه می‌کنی؟ دستامو ببین چطور یخ کرده! اگه یکی از روضه برگرده چی؟ اگه بی‌بی یادش بیفته قرصاش جا مونده... به قرآن بفهمن زنده به گورم می‌کنن!
نیشخند زد، دستشو آورد بالا و تارهای خرمایی موهامو که ریخته بود رو سینه‌م آروم کناار گفت؛— نتر/ موش‌کوچ/ولو، تا آخر شب هیشکی برنمی‌گرده. بعدشم... کی گفته نامحرمیم؟ وقتی دلت با منه و قراره اسمت بیاد تو شناسنامه‌م، یعنی تمومه. امشب فقط واسه خودم و خودته.
— شاهان... تو رو به پیر، تو رو به پیغمبر قسم... فقط حرف نباشه. قول بده زودتر حرف بزنی، قالِ قضیه رو بکنی و بیای خواستگاری... نری پشتمو خالی کنی؟
سرشو خم کرد، لباشو گذاشت روی گودی گردنم. از داغی بوسه‌ش چشمام سیاهی رفت، زانوهام خالی کرد و بی‌اختیار چنگ زدم به شونه‌هاش. بین ترسِ آبرو و کشش عجیبی که بهش داشتم دست‌وپا می‌زدم.
زمزمه‌وار دم گوشم گفت: — مگه شک داری به حرفم؟ وقتی می‌گم مال خودمی یعنی تمومه دخترعمو... خیالت تخت باشه، من پای همه‌چیز وایسادم. امشب فقط به من فکر کن. بوسم کرد کمی عقب رفت پیرهنشو. دراورد….برا ادامش لطفا‌ لااایک کن/ @roman_delsaa
