If Your Heart Races When You Lie Down, This Is The Real Reason You’re lying in bed trying to sleep and suddenly it’s boom, boom, boom. Your adrenaline feels like it’s running when it shouldn’t be. You can’t settle down, you can’t sleep, and you start wondering, “Is this anxiety? What is happening to me?” Epstein-Barr can stress the adrenals and release different poisons and neurotoxins that trigger adrenaline in spurts, even while you’re lying there trying to rest. You need to know what’s behind the reaction if you want to know what you’re up against.
