Palmer & Madigan Providence, RI amethyst bottle. Weeding out some of my common bottles and spotted this cool strap sided whiskey flask. It's a really beautiful amethyst color, so it must have been a surface find. The manganese in these old bottles reacts with the Sun's UV rays to turn it purple. Not a common bottle, since I couldn't find any on eBay. Probably a pre-1920 bottle.
