About 13 years or so ago, I noticed that the church @markekgren was having us rehearse McBeth in had a copy of one of my late, great poetry professor Bill Holm’s books. Today, on a break from Hamlet rehearsal with @thegraymallardtheater , I checked and they still have the same book. That’s pretty neat, if you ask me.

He once openly mocked me for me spelling “minute” “minuet”, did a little minuet, then broke for a mid-class smoke. I loved him dearly.

Remember when we got him scotch and a carton of newports as a retirement gift and he gave us good grades?

I found some signed Bill Holm books last year at a used book store. What a gift to find them! He was a treasure.
