This video is proof that I didn’t marry a 35 year old man. I married a giant toddler.

The man who dances for absolutely no reason. Who makes the weirdest faces. Who behaves like a child in public without an ounce of embarrassment. Who can turn the most serious situation into comedy. Who tests my patience every single day… and somehow still manages to make me laugh.

People see this funny, carefree version of you. But I get to see the man behind it. The one who knows something is wrong with me just by hearing my “Hello” on the phone. The one who becomes my light whenever life feels too dark. The one who trusts me enough to let me become his light when he loses his own.

We fight. Oh, we fight like we’re auditioning for a daily soap. And then, thirty minutes later…we’re standing at a momo stall deciding whether to order steamed or fried, as if nothing ever happened. That’s us. 😅

You’re the most stubborn person I’ve ever met. A complete headache, a full time project and sometimes I genuinely wonder how anyone could deal with you. Then I remember, that’s probably why life brought you to me.

You met many people before me. But somehow, destiny knew there was only one woman stubborn enough to match your madness, argue with you, laugh with you, love you, and choose you every single day.

And here we are. Married.

May you never lose this childlike heart, this ridiculous sense of humour, or the ability to make me smile even when I’m trying really hard to stay angry.

Thank you for being my best friend, my safe place, my biggest headache, my greatest blessing, and my favourite person to do absolutely nothing with.
