Imagine uploading your electricity bill, rent, student loan or medical expenses to an app and having a wealthy stranger choose to pay it for you. That unusual idea went viral after X user Destiny Ndlovu posted about creating a platform where people could list their unpaid bills and โ€œbored billionairesโ€ could swipe right to cover them. The concept quickly caught attention online and inspired independent developers to explore turning it into a real service. One example is Pay My Billy, which uses a swipe-based interface to connect people posting bills with potential donors. The idea also raises important questions about how such a platform would work in practice. Developers would need reliable systems to verify bills, prevent fraudulent requests, protect sensitive financial information and ensure that donations reach the intended service providers. Some platforms are still demonstrations rather than fully operational payment services. So while the concept has potential as an alternative approach to crowdfunding and direct financial assistance, it was not an app proposal from Elon Musk. His name became attached to the viral story through misleading social media posts.

Meet the newest addition to @thehappykittyrescue ๐ŸŒผ I went into the shelter today planning to rescue another kittyโ€ฆ but then this girl caught my eye. She looked so defeated, terrified, and incredibly sick. She was set to be euthanized in just 1 hour. Her story is heartbreaking. She first arrived at the shelter back in April as an adorable 8-week-old kitten. She was treated for mites and adopted the very next day. Yesterday, nearly 7 months later, she was brought back to the same shelter in this condition ๐Ÿ’” My heart broke for her. As you can see, sheโ€™s quite hissy, but I think sheโ€™s just so scared and in pain right now. Weโ€™re currently at the vet to assess her condition and figure out whatโ€™s going on. Iโ€™ll share more as soon as we know. In the meantime, if youโ€™re able and would like to contribute towards her care, you can donate through the link in my bio. Every dollar helps. Weโ€™re so grateful for your support ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’•
