VICI’s quarterly net income dropped 55.1%. Their revenue actually rose, and the profit decline was driven by an accounting adjustment for potential credit losses. But here’s my take on their business model: When landlords squeeze casino operators for bigger returns, where do you think that pressure ends up? On YOU. Higher prices, more fees, fewer deals, and a Vegas experience that keeps giving you less while charging you more. In my opinion, this landlord and tenant model has helped squeeze the shit out of consumers. And if that’s what their success depends on, then yes I hope that model fails. Their biggest asset is the real estate. Hypothetically, if Caesars bought back the properties it leases from VICI, that would take a major chunk out of VICI’s portfolio. I’m not saying that’s happening I’m saying the land is the foundation of their business. Vegas needs owners invested in making people WANT to come back. You can only squeeze people so much before they stop coming. Make Vegas Vegas Again.

Ok talk to me in the comments… I mean you just don’t know what’s going to happen next…: between computer hacks? Hackers making fridges go warm? Your man and the Middle East?? Are we stocking up? I’m buying a radio tonight. @rteradio1 is where things would be transmitted if anything happens! My WhatsApp is alight as I mentioned it to friends… someone sent me a DM the other day about how stressful it all is. And I agree. But should be be prepared? If you had told me pre Covid we would all be lining up to get into the shop & couldn’t leave our house I wouldn’t have believed you!!! so tell me… have you stockpiled anything?? (And if yes, what???)
