Levantine is a handcrafted chocolate brand inspired by the flavors, ingredients, and traditions of the Levant. Rooted in the Arabic word “Shamieh,” it reflects a culture of hospitality, craftsmanship, and connection, offering a refined chocolate experience grounded in heritage.

I built the logotype using transitional serifs with a few unexpected twists. The letterforms are linked and flow into each other, while the flipped “L” and slanted “A” add an unexpected rhythm that makes the logotype feel crafted, elegant, and expressive. I then accompanied the logo with a set of adaptions to work across different touchpoints.

The emblem I created is a combination of a flower and cacao bean merged into one symbol; a reminder of the natural ingredients and careful craft behind Levantine.

I illustrated modernised botanicals inspired by the fruits, plants, and flowers behind the flavours.

The selected color palette uses rich, juicy, floral, and indulgent colors, with just enough softness to keep it warm and inviting.
