Last week Ziggy laid down at home, for her most peaceful sleep. For 13 years she welcomed friends & strangers into every place we called home. She greeted them at the door with a sweet, curious gaze & a wagging tail. It was no different when the final stranger met her there, arriving to help Zig sail on in comfort. She was a roadtrip champ & a confident hiking partner. She loved Big Sur & rolling in anyone’s yard she deemed worthy. She loved french fries & laying in the sun. She loved our whole family. My forever couch potato. My special girl - Thank you for growing up with me. Thank you for trusting me. Loving you gave me so much purpose.
