What a weekend! Heart of a Lion was everything I had hoped for and more!

S - 275, B - 202, D - 330, BW - 147.7, DOTS - 377.41, 11th place overall and second place in the 67.5 kg womens class.

The morning started rough with squats but with the help of my Coach and team I was able to "get my mind right" and have a great day! Every lift was a PR and every red light taught me something.

I'd like to thank everyone who came to support me and cheer me on! I'm so grateful to be surrounded by such amazing friends and family! I know this week wasn't easy for my family, leading up to weigh-ins I wasn't my nicest, but they never stopped rooting for me. I couldn't do it without y'all 🩷

Special thank you to Coach Stephen for all the hours of training, the nutrition planning, and programming. When I started training to powerlift in November I hadn't even squatted in over a year. I can't believe how far I've come but it wouldn't be possible if Stephen didn't push and inspire me to do more than I imagined I ever could. I've never fallen in love with a sport so much and I can't wait to see what's next!

Shout-out to the SP and onelife team as well! This community is so special and I'm so lucky to cheer on such great people!

And last but certainly not least thank you to team flex and all the judges who made this event possible! I'd be a stain on the carpet without those spotters so thank you for giving up your time and effort for this event! 🩷🦁
