3 months agoGreat advice I do a lot of events and made a lot of mistakes over the five years I’ve been in business but now I’m on everything you’re saying.
4 months agoA lot of these so called event promoters just want spot fillers. They have a presence online. Then, when it's time to pr.omote it's cricket's. Going through that right now. No answers from them. No feedback.
4 months agoMy number 1 is: Is this an event worth getting into the car for? Would my network of friends go? would I go?
4 months agoThank you! I did an event and there were maybe five customers. I was so defeated and I decided to only do events that align with my business.
4 months agoLawd these are facts and I can tell you most of the promoters that I ask these either ignore it, says look at a previous video on their page or get mad. That's how I know not to go with them. My last vendor market i went out there the week before to see the foot traffic but because it was rainy and windy I couldn't gage it. Not much people were out and the following week was worst and it was mother's day. Over 90 vemdors and about 6 of us had the same exact things. I was PISSED mainly because there was 0 foot traffic. I left early. So do your research.
