New York, you broke me in ways I never expectedšŸ„¹ā¤ļø Where do I even beginā€¦ Yesterday was without a doubt one of the hardest things I have ever done. Physically, mentally and emotionally, this marathon challenged me in ways I never imagined possible. It wasnā€™t the race I had dreamed of. I didnā€™t get the time Iā€™d hoped for, and there were so many moments where I genuinely didnā€™t think I could carry on. I questioned myself more times than I can count, and giving up crossed my mind more than Iā€™d like to admit. Iā€™ve realised that sometimes the biggest wins arenā€™t about the time on the clock, but about finding the strength to keep going when everything in you is telling you to stop especially my lil legs. I went into this marathon wanting to prove something to myself, but I came away having learnt more about myself than I ever expected. Iā€™m still trying to process it all. The tears, the pain, the emotions and the overwhelming feeling of crossing that finish line knowing just how much it took to get there. New York, you werenā€™t the marathon I expected, but youā€™ll forever be one Iā€™ll never forget. šŸ—½ 26.2 miles. I DID IT. šŸ„¹ā¤ļø
A little 2026 life recap because HOW are we less than two months away from 2027? Got engaged. Ran a half marathon. Sold my juice bar. Launched a juice brand. Started a vending company. Became a dog mum and step dog mum. Moved in with my man. Hosted a mob wife party. Joined a gym. Averaged 14,404 steps a day. Reversed my fatty liver disease. Maintained my healthy habits. Protected my peace. Made memories with my favourite people. Celebrated 25 years of best friendship. A year of big changes, new beginnings, backing myself and enjoying the little things. Very grateful for all of it. It really was the year of the fire horse šŸ”„šŸŽ
