We got married at 20yrs old 33.5 years ago. He is the strong, silent type, my rock and my soft place to fall. No grand gestures, he says little but sees everything, especially me. I come from a family where my parents each unintentionally brought in their past family trauma and I learned to fade into the background. His hand, his smile, his actions has always been his way of saying you're safe with me, i see you, dont change. Happy Anniversary xo
