NEW TIME - NIGHT TIME IS THE BEST TIME : SATURDAY, JULY 18TH 7:30PM - ALL AGES @pieshopdc $15 - LINK IN BIO
@bullshitdetectortx - On tour from Texas, my favorite fucking band over the past few years, are finally playing DC and I'm so fucking happy. Self-described "thug wave" with lyrical themes of street level, working class struggle, shouted at you in an anthemic voice behind a sound described as "cold oi" or "oi division". Just know this shit is tough, rough, raw, honest and catchy. FFO: SYNDROME 81, BLITZ, LIBERTY AND JUSTICE, CRAN, HOME FRONT, THE CHISEL
@luxury_teeth_ - You know I had to bring on this group of punk lifers. They have been killing it the past few years opening for bands like the Subhumans, GBH, Total Chaos and notable for me personally... The Pist. Gritty hardcore and street punk from Baltimore with strong DC connections. FFO: VIOLENT SOCIETY, THE UNSEEN, THE SUSPECTS, CHOKING VICTIM
@lyebath - I had to throw Lye Bath on this show because Bullshit Detector has been a huge influence on me personally. New band based our of MD (from the DC line all the way to Baltimore City). Dark, goth tinged and catchy post-punk (with an emphasis on the punk). We are hoping our demo will be out by then and I haven't been this excited about a band for awhile. FFO: SISTERS OF MERCY, AFI, THE DAMNED, BAUHAUS, RANCOEUR, LIFE OF AGAONY, THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN
Mega shout out to @crawlspacebooking for trusting me with this, @burdhaus.designs for the killer poster and @s__l__u__g__ for letting me join the punk party.
