Connecting the mic to my recorder allows me to send the audio track to my camera wirelessly. I can also control the signal as it’s a mic level input.
When I’m at home there’s no point to this but it really helps with editing when I’m recording gigs.
One transmitter means mono but this setup will also work with two transmitters as well.

I do that too, so the audio from the console gets directly to my camera so I Don’t have to sync in post 🥴
