Kringle birthday haul! I have been trying to be really good about pulling back on my candle spending this year because honestly I’ve been a bit overwhelmed how many candles I have in my cabinets. I decided to splurge on a little Kringle candle purchase when I saw this summer line up. The candle I was most excited about was Rose & Palo Santo, and on cold sniff it is a nice rose candle. Not earth shaking, but solid. I wish it had more of the palo santo because I thought the combo of a sweet rose and deep smoke sounded intriguing. A more interesting and robust rose fragrance from Kringle that captured my heart is Almost Midnight. American Pie seems nice, but I actually prefer the fragrance of the Cherry Crumble (not pictured) car air freshener I picked up. If I go back for a pie candle I think that is the better choice for my nose. Salt Water Taffy is sweeter than the B&BW counterpart and to me smells a bit more authentic to my memories of picking candy from oversized barrels in shops by the sea. Sea Breeze is nice and sandy, but I prefer the pungent saltiness of the OG Yankee Bay Breeze. Coral Sands is ok, but to me can’t hold a candle to Yankee’s Pink Sands so I am happy I just got the small tin. Overall I am so excited for my candles and feel happy to add them to my collection!
