We sat down with Athena formulator Chris Durand to dig into it, and his response was simple:
"The name of the product doesn't justify what it really is."
Despite the name, Sugar Daddy isn't just a carbohydrate supplement. It's a blend of 20 plant-available amino acids with only about 2% cane sugar.
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and signaling molecules, supporting the processes that drive plant growth, metabolism, nutrient utilization, and overall plant performance. The cane sugar is only a small part of the formulation.

When running R&D, Roach Started using Sugar Daddy in Week 1 of Flower, applying 12 mL per gallon through the irrigation system.
Moving to production he is adjusting to potentially start running it starting in Week 5 of Flower when buds are really starting to develop, applying 12 mL per gallon through the irrigation system.

Just found out JUNGLE BOYZ doenst acknowledge MMIC card as in they still make you the sales tax and here’s another one . For the past year they have chosen to keep the sales tax and not pass it along to LOS ANGELES COUNTY . This is a definite crime and goes against the whole idea to have a medical patient . I have reported them and am waiting a response .

I used to run Athena with Sugaree and bio ag full power. Even if all the marketing Athena was doing against additives - I knew it wasn’t a full line. Crazy to see this and the Athena Sugar drop a few years later.

I love sugar daddy if your a real grower you know when this line used to be called the “BC Bud Kit” now it’s called the Recipe For Success when I was first introduced to sugar daddy it was when I bought my first BC Bud Kit sample nutrient setup back in 2008. I now run Nector for the Gods nutrient line and Gaja green but I always always have that Sugar Daddy in my line up ifykyk shout out to the real indoor growers who rent houses and blow up the garage and spare rooms we the real trap flippers 1 house 2 house 3 house 4 another pound of exotic landing at your door 🚪. Shout out to my tuff shed hash lab 🧪 backyard scientists keep doing what your doing and making some of the best hash in the game for your homies to smoke. I miss those days now it’s all about making numbers and fast flips fuck that I’m happy with my garage split into two 8ft by 30ft rooms 30 plants in each and 6 lights a room steady busting out 14 pounds of exotic every two months out of each room my hash lab has never been happier and my life isn’t about numbers or cheap out of state flippers I grow to grow the best and make the best hash rosin I possibly can now!

So is Athena finally admitting there nutes can use something else I run there pro line and never been sold on there terp production I add my own stuff from experience of running other lines with. Much better results then just there pro line I don't hate on Athena I use it I just always felt it is lacking flavor

So you will definitely have issues with your drip lines over time. I’ve been using this product for over 20 years. If you raised the price on it now that you are distributing it I will be extremely disappointed. If so, Botanicare makes the same product and haven’t changed their prices… I wouldn’t know that if you guys wouldn’t have taken forever to get this distributed.
