"I was deeply inspired to create the film watching George Floyd's murder on television. I wanted to create a story that folks can emphasize and understand what young men of color go through on a regular basis." Director & Writer Johnny Kirk (@iamda_captain_now ) on his inspiration for "The Fourth."

Set on the 4th of July, "The Fourth" is an award-winning black drama that tackles the injustices and systemic racism that is ever so prevalent in the United States that can be overlooked and forgotten on this holiday. Tune in to our YouTube tomorrow to watch Johnny Kirk's film.
