10 years on since we lost Peter. I found out on the Fourth of July 2016.

having only corresponded with some letters and a handful of emails over 20 years (cant imagine how annoying I was in the 90s asking about Sportswear and looking for shirts) the hole that he left in my life was profound. He always took the time to be courteous, sincere and patient.

Onward, Sportswear and For Pete’s Sake have and will always be some of the most influential bands in my life. I poured over the lyrics thousands of times and always learn something new every time I review them.

I can’t imagine what those close to him felt, and are currently feeling.

RIP to a real gem of a human being, and someone whom I looked up to from afar.
