Divine Adeboye

Three weeks ago, I graduated from @ucla , the #1 public university in the world. Transferring from Berkeley City College, I was overwhelmed by how much I needed to accomplish in two years. So the new journey began, from attending my orientation at ucla, to being a New Bruins Leadership Academy Alumni, to getting involved on campus, and paving my path as I continued my education at UCLA. All these wouldn’t have been possible without GOD, my all in all. Through the trials, struggles, and seasons when I thought I couldn’t push any further, God came through for me. Miraculously! I started every quarter anxious of the journey ahead, but left grateful for the lessons and experiences I’ll forever cherish. UCLA ignited a different type of spark in me, one I never knew I had. I learned so much from the amazing faculty dedicated to student excellence at UCLA. I’ve learned new ways to express myself and learn from others with a unique perspective. To God be the glory for guiding me through these two years at UCLA because without Him, it wouldn’t have been possible. Special thanks to my family for playing an integral part in my journey, most importantly for being a vessel used by God to ensure I fulfill purpose on earth. To my brothers, thank y’all! You’ve been an inspiration and reasons why I continue to forge my own path. To my bestie turned sister @thumie_shey , thank you so much for being a solid shoulder I could cry on when everything else fell apart. I pray our friendship continues to blossom 🌸 To my friends at UCLA, thank you for letting me experience life through your lenses. To the transfer community @uclatransfers , thank you for welcoming me into the transfer center and making it a second home for me.
