Some nights feel like New York wants to remind you why you live here.
On June 13th, Pigeon Religion had its world premiere at the 30th anniversary of Rooftop Films. Grateful to everyone who came out and shared the night with us.
A huge thank you to Rooftop Films for giving the film such an incredible home. Thank you to @motherpigeonrevival band for opening the evening with an unforgettable performance, and to our amazing EP @seanseaevans for hosting a thoughtful Q&A.
Deep gratitude to all who helped bring this film to life; @therealjustjenny for being the best producer, @david.dominguezzz for helping start this doc, @halleckphoto for cutting it together, @dustinwadsworth @company_3 for the color, and everyone else who contributed along the way.
After the screening, a group of us ended up in a parking lot watching the Knicks win game 5 on someone’s phone because we didn’t make it to a bar in time. It felt like the perfect ending to a night that never quite felt real to begin with.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.
More coming soon. 🕊️
