I want to take this moment to thank you mom and dad for EVERYTHING. Especially in staying in this country and raising us to appreciate all that it offers. It would’ve been much easier to retreat back into your familiar worlds after Vietnam, but instead you both became lifers in the army and civil service. Families that have never served may not always understand the sacrifices and the pride we feel in these moments but I do. All of the opportunities we have now are directly related to those difficult years. But they were also awesome years. and I wanted to thank you and every family of service on this our 250th year. I remember 1976 in Germany and how cool that was. I hope our kids are forever grateful as much as I am. Love you.
