I'd recommend some magic youtubers! Rhystic Studies has a few on the history of Phyrexia and is just great in general. Spiced8Rack has a great spark notes video of the lore (up until a few years ago), and best of all, Magic wrote books with all the lore! I haven't read them myself yet as they are hard to track down, but I've heard they are available digitally. Start with The Brothers War or The Fall of the Thran! Strixhaven also released a novel that is available at Chapters(or Indigo or whatever its called in the States haha)
