✨ The first sparkle paint job I ever did ✨

At heart, I'm a walnut and oil finish style woodworker. I've always respected the flashy paint jobs, but they weren't in my vocabulary as an artisan or designer for a long time. That all changed when I got a request for the beauty from a very close friend and incredible musician. This lime green sparkle finish was by far the most flamboyant guitar I had built yet, but now sparkles and pearls are a big part of what I do and the visual language I reference in my work.

The "Tomo" Orca will always be a reminder to me of the ways that true friends can push you to expand your horizons and see yourself in a new light.
