My father was an officer in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. Denmark loaned the United States their Tall Ship the DANMARK during the war. He sailed on this magnificent vessel during the war.It was among the wonderful tall ships in New York yesterday for 250th anniversary of the United States of America! My father was capable of celestial navigation and I am extremely impressed by his mathematical abilities and courage during World War II on this magnificent sailing vessel! Thank you, Denmark and thank you, dad! HAPPY 250th 🗽🇺🇸🎂🇺🇸🗽 U S A ! ( swipe left)
