🚹AM I RAISING AN ENTITLED KID???🚹 You say no to them and it’s instant chaos - meltdown, arguing, insisting, the “but whyyyy” on repeat - just the way they expect you to drop everything the SECOND they want something. And you have that split-second spiral like “Wait
is this just a typical kid thing?? Or do I have an overly entitled kid on my hands??” As a child therapist, I hear this all the time - listen, I’ve had the thought myself. It’s GOOD to pause and ask yourself this. We love our kids so damn much but none of us want to raise a kid who can’t handle “no,” who expects everything to go their way, or who falls apart the second things don’t. It’s just not good for real life. This substack article is âšĄïžthe Therapist’s Guide to NOT Raising an Entitled KidâšĄïž, and it breaks down exactly how to handle entitlement and the 7 concrete, science-backed shifts that build kids who can handle “no,” move through disappointment, and don’t expect the world to revolve around them. Comment “SUB” to get the full, article delivered to your inboxâ˜•ïžđŸ€ It’s all about building the actual skills your kid needs to function in real life. The way you handle “no” today is shaping who your child becomes tomorrow.

NdĂ«rsa rrugĂ«t e TiranĂ«s vlojnĂ« nga protestat masive qĂ« kĂ«rkojnĂ« dorĂ«heqjen e tij, kryeministri Edi Rama ka zgjedhur podiumet e Brukselit pĂ«r tĂ« kryer misionin e tij tĂ« zakonshĂ«m gjeopolitik: tĂ« bĂ«jĂ« avokatin mbrojtĂ«s tĂ« Beogradit. GjatĂ« samitit tĂ« Euronews pĂ«r zgjerimin e Bashkimit Europian, pĂ«rballĂ« gazetares Maria Tadeo, kreu i qeverisĂ« shqiptare riktheu sĂ«rish retorikĂ«n e tij pro-serbe. NĂ« njĂ« kohĂ« kur diplomacia europiane kĂ«rkon llogari nga Serbia pĂ«r flirtet e saj dypjesĂ«she me Vladimir Putinin, Edi Rama e mori sĂ«rish pĂ«rsipĂ«r barrĂ«n pĂ«r tĂ« justifikuar qĂ«ndrimet e AleksandĂ«r Vuçiçit. Na duhet Serbia tĂ« jetĂ« me ne, tĂ« jetĂ« pjesĂ« e fqinjĂ«sisĂ« dhe tĂ« jetĂ« pjesĂ« e plotĂ« e BE-sĂ«...” Ky qĂ«ndrim i RamĂ«s nga Brukseli shfaq njĂ« kontrast tĂ« thellĂ« politik. NĂ« vend qĂ« tĂ« pĂ«rballet me revoltĂ«n qytetare qĂ« vlon nĂ« TiranĂ« dhe me pyetjet therĂ«se mbi korrupsionin e qeverisĂ« sĂ« tij, kryeministri preferon tĂ« bĂ«jĂ« "leksione gjeopolitike" mbi rĂ«ndĂ«sinĂ« e SerbisĂ« nĂ« mozaikun e Ballkanit.
