Democrat James Talarico celebrated his victory over Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton in Texas’ Senate race, becoming the first Democrat elected to represent the state in the US Senate in 38 years. In his victory speech, he compared his win to the biblical story of David vs. Goliath.

Kannatus on laskenut jopa alemmas kuin Trumpin kannatus yhdysvaltalaisten keskuudessa yleisesti. Tuoreimpien mittausten mukaan Trumpin kannatus oli noin 32 prosentin luokkaa lokakuun lopussa.
16-vuotias Joan Najera on paitsi nuori mies myös Trumpin entinen uskollinen tukija.
