First off I want to say Grandpa, I love & Thank you for being the man you are. People who don’t know you would say you are strict and very direct, I would say No that just Grandpa for you lol. Your words of wisdom is what structure this family and I want to give you your flowers, from our Sunday text messages or Sunday phone check-ins I never took those conversations for granted. I know there was a period in my life where I didn’t see you as often as I should have but we still kept in contact thru the phone & once I moved back home from college we both made it a point to make up for lost time and we sure did. I always loved stopping by the house to tend to your yard and just catch up about life and crazy world we live in. Even though we never got around to getting those grits and eggs at your favorite dinner, I am grateful you, mom & I were able to atleast catch Mexican food together, Mexican cuisine was your favorite and I can remember that infectious smile of yours laughing and joking like it was yesterday just enjoying life & family. I hope you are finally getting some rest old man you were the definition of hard work & dedication I see where we all get our work ethic from you & Grandma.
