Google Play has explained why Nepali app and game developers cannot access Google Play merchant registration in Nepal. According to Google’s developer support team, Nepal’s foreign exchange controls and rules on international digital payments create legal and technical problems for Google to process payments, refunds, and international transactions. The issue means Nepali Android developers have mainly had to depend on advertising income, while paid apps, subscriptions and in-app purchases remain difficult to operate through Google Play. The response came after Prime Minister Balendra Shah raised the issue and pledged policy support for Nepal’s IT and gaming sector. Google said its payment system would need to comply with Nepal Rastra Bank’s licensing and foreign exchange rules. Developers are now calling for changes to make it easier for Nepali digital companies to receive international payments legally and bring their earnings into Nepal. Titled: Forever & a Day An impressionist artwork of a mother’s love as a “sanctuary”. I made sure that the canvas is painted with only vibrant and dreamlike colours, skies of reflective gold, baby blue, amethyst, and pink melting into a hundred positive emotions. At the center of this stands a soft image of a mother embracing her fawn. Surrounding them is a vast lush meadow alive with greenery, the colors of protection, growth & warmth. Every brush stroke is made with an intented positive energy, no harsh lines. The feeling of the artwork is meant to be a reflection of a mother’s constant presence that is beyond time and space. Special thanks to Mrs. Jannhvi who helped me with her vision to create this for her🍀🤍 How does this make you feel? DM for custom art #canvas #artwork #art #artlovers #artforspaces

Some evenings leave you feeling inspired long after they’re over. So honoured to have been invited to Grand Cru in support of @UHNFoundation - thank you to @one.twenty.eight for introducing me to their work. What made this evening so special wasn’t just the incredible food, wine and setting, but the opportunity to celebrate and connect with the people behind the impact - the generous donors, brilliant scientists and researchers, and the many individuals who are helping advance the future of health care. To sit alongside people who are making such a meaningful difference in the lives of others was truly inspiring. It was a beautiful reminder that behind every breakthrough, every clinical trial and every advancement in patient care, there are people who believe in making a difference. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible and to UHN for including me in such a meaningful celebration. The work being done at University Health Network is extraordinary, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to experience firsthand the passion and generosity that help make it possible.
