4 months ago“Colorado river” lmaooo this is clear creek calling out and hating naming wrong ass shit This is the perfect and most sick spot to tube been doing it for years you can specially kayak way better rapids further up the creek and tubers are not allowed …. That is where you are meant to kayak and yes it’s meant to kayak here too but expect a crowd
4 months agoTo be clear, the grant funding to build this park was explicitly for whitewater kayaking. There is a recreational instream flow water right here for whitewater kayaking that is so high it would be dangerous for tubers. Any of the commenters saying that this park was built for this are explicitly wrong. I'm happy people are getting out and enjoying it and might maybe become river advocates, but this particular park was indeed built for kayakers. Now I explicitly don't teach kayaking here on weekends anymore.
4 months agoAh yes, since I have a different opinion than you, you immediately resort to diminishing my intelligence. I'd love to listen to you explain what I'm missing in this post and why I'm wrong, but I'm sure talking to you would be the equivalent of talking to a wall. But good luck in life bud.
4 months ago"Only I'm allowed to use the river, if other people want to do it they're wrong" do you realize how ridiculous you sound?
4 months agoYou can still utilize the river, you just might look like a tool with your $2000+ kit next to the 12 year old running it on an Ozark Trail tube.
4 months agoJust don’t do it on a Saturday at 1pm. During the week nobody is there even after work.
