A little heart-to-heart 🤍
A few snippets from my last stall and a tiny throwback to my very first one.
For someone who's always loud, opinionated, and talking, I never thought putting up a stall would become one of my favorite things to do.
It's never just been about selling. It's about the random conversations, the sweetest people, and the little moments that somehow stay with you.
I'll always remember my very first customers—they were the cutest teenage girlies who literally sold me out of stickers. 🥹 They hyped me up, told their friends, and somehow became my first little marketing team. I genuinely owe so much to their word-of-mouth support.
One of my favorite things is watching people much older than me stop by "just to look," and then seeing them giggle over silly stickers or admire my hand-painted candles. It's like fun little things bring out everyone's inner child, and I get to witness that in real time. It's honestly the sweetest part. The insane amount of fun conversations that have taken place on stall days.
Huge shoutout to Maheen and Hareem for surviving every chaotic stall day with me, and to my Ama and my sister for putting up with all my unnecessary vendor drama and mini tantrums whenever someone couldn't mind their own business. 😭
And to everyone who's ever stopped by my stall, bought something, shared my work, or simply said, "Your candles are so pretty"—you have no idea how much confidence you've given me. Every compliment, every conversation, every little interaction has stayed with me.
Here's to more stalls, more wholesome strangers, more chaotic stories, and hopefully... fewer dramatic vendors. 🤍✨
