Where do I even begin, these past few days have been the most harrowing of my life to say the least. I guess I'll start from the beginning. I moved to Ogdensburg back in 2004 when I was 8 years old going into 2nd grade, and you were my first friend I ever had.
We did so much in our childhood growing up in that small town, doing what most boys do. We'd stay over each other's houses, playing video games, sleepovers, skating, fingerboarding with tech decks in school, airsoft/paintball battles with our friends in the neighborhood, from being little pyro-maniacs burning shit in The Jumps (iykyk) to hanging out in your old tree house. I'll also never forget those legendary manhunt games we did with the neighborhood kids.
From elementary/middle school to high school we had our own paths we were starting to take with new friends, yet we still made great memories despite that.
After graduating Sussex Tech for the next decade we grew distant and only kept up with our socials for the most part. You had your college life and your band, The Spins that you were cultivating. Yet we never let that break our bond.
Just a few years ago you reached back out to me once I got back into fingerboarding and told me you never stopped fb because of me. Because of you, i had reinvigorated my passion for this hobby. We started to hang out like old times again, went to a couple of fb events, pushing each other to progress and get better like when we were kids. We even talked about our future with fingerboarding this past year. I last saw you at the jersey city diy and saw how stoked you were to finally shred it. And we finally got to film a proper part together, I just wish it wouldn't be our first and last 💔.
Even though you may not be here in this realm anymore you will always be in my heart and memories. Thank you for helping me realize my passion again, thank you for being apart of my life, and thank you for being my friend.
Thank you for everything Nick, I'll carry it all foward. Rest in paradise.

The last time I saw Nick we were catching up and he went on and on about how much he appreciated your friendship and how much he truly valued you. He said you were one of his best friends, and that what you guys had was just such a genuine & pure friendship. He loved all of the hobbies and time you shared together and it was really obvious how much you meant to him. Just wanted you to know that he spoke so highly of you and cared about you a lot
