HEY. I just wanted to tell you… if your business is constantly leaving you exhausted, anxious, feeling disconnected from yourself & the people you love, burnout out ask OR feeling like you’re always behind… that was me too at one point. but our businesses are NOT supposed to consume our entire life or leave us depleted in the name of ‘success’. we were taught that ‘doing whatever it takes’ is what success looks like, that if you’re not sacrificing something, you’re not working hard enough or you won’t be able to reach your goal/ be the ‘best’.
aaaand, I think that’s yuck asf. I am here to rewrite that narrative & tell you, that is not success. your business should create more life, not take it away. not just in ways that bring you financial freedom, not in a ‘I’ve burnt myself out but now I get to go on a trip for 3 weeks yay!’ way (which I see far too much of), but in a way that brings you freedom to slow the eff down without everything falling apart or without sacrificing yourself first, freedom to flow with your energy cycles, freedom to have soft days that aren’t full of constant efficiency and optimisation, freedom to play & have fun along the way, freedom to ACTUALLY enjoy the process and where you are now instead of constantly living in the future. our wellbeing, relationships, dreams & the version of us that exists outside of work should all be supported, with ease, by our businesses, not the other way around.
So many of us quickly start bending around our business to make ends meet, reach our goals or to ‘find success’, when our businesses should really be moulding around us. So perhaps if you’ve stumbled across this reel or my page, youre ready to make some small lil changes to find a business structure & system that actually supports & holds space for YOU to flourish.
