After I confronted him for cheating , I told him the relationship was over and tore every picture of us together. Sent a video to his mistress to congratulate them on destroying the relationship as they intended.

In his chat with B (the mistress), she advised him to tell his family members before I do and of course, he did just that. When he told his brother, mother and cousins, they told him what he did wasn’t so bad and I overreacted so he should go report me to the police cause my actions were threatening and he shouldn’t sleep in the house that night.
He reported me to the police, paid them to come arrest me the next day, came home to have his bath and went to B’s house to have sex and sleep over.
If at any point, you feel your partner is misbehaving, it might be foolish of you to think reporting him to his family is the way to go, they don’t love you that much. Even if they lie to your face, their ultimate loyalty is to the person they raised cause they are all the same.
