Avatar: Seven Havens showrunners Sehaj Sethi and Ethan Spaulding explain how separating twin sisters Pavi and Nisha will drive their individual growth while expanding the show's world. Sethi explained that after spending the first season exploring the sisters growing together, the team wanted to see how they would evolve independently. She described the opportunity to watch them “grow apart from one another into their respective roles” as an intriguing way to explore their emotional and philosophical differences. Spaulding added that separating the sisters would also allow the audience to discover new locations and cultures, describing it as “a cool thing to have the characters split up at some point in the storyline for the world-building.”
