Buffalo Business First is honoring the women who are influencing economic, social, and cultural growth throughout Western New York, and our own Dean Julia Czerniak is one of them!
Throughout her appointment as Dean of UB’s School of Architecture and Planning, Julia has strengthened research support for faculty, enhanced the school’s reputation and impact, and empowered our students to make meaningful contributions to their fields and communities. Most recently, she brought together seven design teams for an international competition, traveling exhibition, and upcoming symposium that challenged architects, landscape architects, planners, and other allied design professionals to boldly envision UB’s South Campus as a socio-ecologically integrated landscape.
Join us in celebrating Dean Czerniak as one of the 2026 Buffalo Business First’s Power 200 Women!
