A man stands behind a piece of see-through orange fabric with sparkly jewels attached. You can still see his face; he is looking directly at the camera.
A group of adults are holding a piece of plastic which has leaves inside. Someone is standing behind it as someone takes a photo.
Planet earth is our only common house. Let's take care of her. Ocean is not a plastics bin
A selection of photos, drawings of elephants, doodles and words. Dressed in excess is underlined.
A person is holding up a mask; it has been decorated with string, pom poms wool and netting. One side is mostly a pale blue, the other a striking red.

Our latest blog, 'Maya in Practice', is written by Visual Artist and Storyteller @_soniabhamra . She shares her reflections on exploring the concept of Maya from Dharmic philosophy and ancient wisdom (the illusion of separation between humans and nature) through creative workshops at @brushstrokessandwell.

"Some participants began by sketching ideas, while others explored materials directly, experimenting with posing and gesture with assistance from Ruby and Hayley. The atmosphere was very lively and collaborative, with participants photographing one another and sharing ideas...By the end of the session, participants felt less like subjects and more like collaborators, having actively shaped visual representations of illusion."

Photographs and reflections are by Sonia Bhamra. These workshops were part of research and development for her photography project Illusions of Maya.
