The last couple of years Frodo had canine arthritis.
He could still walk but only for short distances so I bought lots of enrichment toys which I used to feed him his dinner in the evening.
The buster mat was his favourite though. We'd put him in the kitchen while we set his dinner up every evening and he'd get very excited but when we were setting the buster mat up, he'd really lose the plot.
With his stroller, hydrotherapy, enrichment activities and librella injections we were able to give him a good quality of life for those last couple of years.
When he started having the vestibular attacks that changed everything so I knew it was time to let him go.
I'm forever grateful that I got to give him the end that I did.
